Evidently, RNZI is still experimenting with their frequencies ... Yesterday, 11675 kHz, today 11690 kHz. RNZI, changing the MSC to 16 QAM and a 14.56 kbps bit-rate would be wiser than switching frequencies.

Well as there is the possibility to switch to AM I think that it is best for them
to use the high quality modes of DRM.
The musical content of their program deserves it IMHO.

A mere loss of < 1 kbps will have a negligible negative impact on quality, but a significantly positive impact on reliability.

Decoded Audio: Fair ... RNZI, switch to a MSC of 16 QAM!

I won't rate this partial log. After battling with installing radio automation software, Rivendell, on my Slackware64 machine, I'll leave posting the remaining logs for 11690 kHz for the next couple of days. Although Rivendell does function nicely, the developers should bring the system out of the stone age of PAM and QT3.

Decoded Audio: Excellent ... If only reception was consistently excellent during the winter in the northern hemisphere as well ... which it isn't.

RNZI, switch NOW to a MSC of 16 QAM. I've analyzed reception reports of your broadcasts across the Pacific Ocean for years now. Do it in preparation for the xHE-AAC codec or I'll leave you withering on the vine in search for greener pastures and those pastures will soon be blooming when my new DR111 with its xHE-AAC codec arrives...

A MSC of 16 QAM and Mode B would have delivered the whole broadcast to me ... If DRM eventually fails (it won't), the blame lies solely with the broadcasters.

RNZI, stop spreading your globalist Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) nonsense. Okie dokie?

* Hopefully, I found a solution to interference caused by my Nanostation M2 Loco which has largely gone unused so far. The apparent solution is RF Armor's aluminum case which restricts the beam in all directions except toward the front lobe. Frankly, Ubiquiti should manufacture their gear with such metallic shielding included ... We'll see how well it works, because I want my local mesh node in operation 24 hours per day if possible...
