KBS World via Babcock from Woofferton 9760 kHz

Hi Philip, this transmission is only on Fridays and Saturdays, hence why no signal on Thursday!

Aha! Thanks. I missed my chance this morning (Friday). Maybe I'll get a chance to try again tomorrow.

Trying when there *might* be a signal, from 1122 to past 1130 UTC Saturday morning 3 June 2017, my MR27024 is picking up no signal on 9760 kHz. (In St. John's, Newfoundland, with eight-metre wire attached.)

However, the entire 31 mb seems nearly inactive with only R Marti and R Miami Intnl just barely (and unintelligibly) registering on 9805 and 9955 respectively.

@Woofferton: The web address www.Babcock-online.co.uk returns an ERR404!

Checking for Babcock DRM on 9760 kHz on another Friday morning (30/6/17), at 1110-1115 UTC: no sign of it here (in eastern Newfoundland) with MR27024 + eight-metre wire.

Babcock DRM, NHK in English and Russian logged for 59 minutes from 1101 UTC. Quite unstable reception this week too. Max. 29.30 dB SNR and 83.93% decoded audio. High SNR, still bad decoding. Perhaps the Mode A has something to do with the decoding problem?

21th July 2017: NHK World via Babcock from Woofferton 9760 kHz

A perfect reception result of the english/russian broadcasting this day.
The SNR max with 29,95dB an 100% decoded audio.

2nd September

Was there a transmission from KBS via WOF today? I took the Gospell out far away from houses and buildings, but I could not even hear any DRM noise in AM mode. When I came back home I could not see any traces of DRM in DReaM either with the FRG-7700 either. Especially 9 MHz is extremely noisy at home with strong PLC pulse QRM (should be forbidden to sell!!). Any second opinion? Was there a transmission today?

Extremely poor conditions and a high solar wind made reception of the KBS transmission impossible. First I took the Gospell out in the woods far away from PLC pollution but could not hear a thing. Back at home using the FRG-7700 there were no traces of DRM in DReaM either.
