DRMNA Yahoo Group

Since I, too, am already a member of groups.io, I'd suggest moving there. If so, I'll join the DRMNA group there as well as here on the DRMRX forum. Groups.io is the logical place.

Has anyone done anything about this yet? I can't find any DRM groups
on Groups.IO.

I'm happy to create one myself, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel.

Happy to contribute to the costs of migrating DRMNA if that helps.

Cheers, Chris

I have created a placeholder DRMWorldWide@groups.io group if anyone wants to make use of it.

Cheers, Chris

Why duplicate? Isn't this the world wide DRM forum?

As I understand it the DRMNA Yahoo Group was started to gather and foster support for DRM in North America.

Originally this DRM forum was run by the DRM Organization but several years ago they stopped funding it. Neil kindly volunteered to keep it alive, paying out of his own pocket, and continues to do so.

There is a large amount of very useful information stored in the archives of this forum that is not available anywhere else.

Chris,

I was waiting on the administrator of the Yahoo group to act. Personally, I do not foresee any problem with another group whether restricted to NA or otherwise. Time has proven that a backup forum or group is needed and a wise idea when hardware fails.

Yes, I see DRMNA has moved, so I've put the group I created into hibernation for now.

Cheers, Chris
