40 minute log early on July 23rd which was marred by interference from man and the rest of nature. I'll post an example of man's interference on this frequency in "Phantoms of the Airwaves" later. Lightning was very prevalent.

I'm still regularly seeing the DRM signals from USCG here in NZ, but nowhere near strong enough for any decoding. Typical is the log from 8000 kHz this evening. On 5200 kHz I did get "USCG" decoded as part of the id a couple of days ago.
I'm off to Canada & the US in a couple of weeks for the solar eclipse, so hopefully will get a chance at better reception :-) 73 Chris

@Chris: Looking forward to your logs. Do you have their frequency schedule? If not I can mail it to you.

Hi Chris and all,
Even better in Lamont, Alberta. Envy you going there, Chris! At my location it is not possible to receive anything as the signal goes directly over the North Pole. Another thing I have noticed is that when I am in Japan I never hear anything on 6 MHz from Europe, but when I'm in Stockholm I hear DPRK jamming in the 6 MHz band (among others on 6.600 MHz) on almost a daily basis. |

I must talk to Mr KiwiSDR and suggest he adds DRM decoding ;-) Or at least a "stream the IF" option ;-)
Cheers, Chris
