According to RNZI's website, the earlier DRM frequencies of 5975 kHz and 7285 kHz are now 6115 kHz

Does anyone have AIR's A17 schedule?

Is RFI broadcasting DRM on 15300 kHz IAW HFCC's schedule?

When AIR finally gets its DRM act together on SW for 2017, I'd like to see a digital SW broadcast in English and AIMED at North America. We're in Phase 2 of AIR's deployment of DRM so let the broadcast fully utilize DRM's capabilities with a robust configuration of 16 QAM for the MSC. Also, AIR should use the xHE-AAC codec only, no AAC+, to encourage the purchase of DRM receivers. Gospell is nearing completion of their GR-216 DRM receiver as well so the timing would be perfect. Use the DRM SW transmitter at Bangalore...

AIR informed me today that they are waiting for equipment before starting up DRM again on 7550 kHz.

By the way, I got a wav file from Marcel and it included one channel coded with xHE-AAC. The service was in mono, bit-rate was 6.94 kbps, sample rate 32 kHz, No SBR and it sounded VERY good when I managed to modulate my signal generator with the wav file and listen with the Avion RX.

Interesting. I can hardly wait for AIR to start broadcasting digital again via shortwave.

Thanks
