3560kHz

The todays frequency monitoring results:
It looks like they're playing with the Dream Transmitting software.
Audio was short decodable on 9/4,5kHz Modus
The Pictures are too big for upload.

3560 kHz 27rd Aug. 2019

It sure looks like they're playing aroun with the Dream TX. I was listening at my home in Shizuoka City and I noticed that they used 4.5 kHz BW. They also used 400 ms interleaver which has never been any good for the decoding. In the beginning the signal strength was rather poor but later in the log the SNR improved. I logged for 82 minutes and got 14,46% decoded audio. The audio bandwidth was only about 3000 Hz and when there was no music, a loud background hum could be heard, probably a ground loop problem. The language spoken was Korean.

A DRM test transmission probably from DPRK (North Korea) mostly in Japanese language on 8th October 2019 on 3560 kHz, logged from 0818-1423 UTC. 18,40 kbps EEP, 16-QAM / SM 64-QAM, AAC, Mono.
Protection Level: 1 / 0, Mode B / 9 kHz. Audio: 1 / Data: 0. Interleaver: 400 ms (short).

Intermittent decoded audio (in Japanese) around 0950 UTC. Distorted and overdriven audio. Severe hum, probably caused by a ground loop in the audio line. Unknown DRM power. Distance to the transmitter: about 1150 km (in case it was DPRK).

Logged for 364 minutes. Max. 21,01 dB SNR and 18,19% decoded audio.
