I've never heard TDP at such a low audio quality before.
Could not decode much at the beginning, signal got weaker early here.

A weak signal most of the time improving towards the end, perfect decoding for the last five minutes.

Simone

Was the bitrate 20.96 kbps as seen in your attachment, or was it 14.56 kbps as was reported by Fritz?

It was not our intention to use a low bitrate and mono, our apologies for that, it will not happen again.

Dear Ludo,
when I looked at it at the start it was 20.96 kbps as recorded in my logfile, must have changed later but I did not watch it then, will try and check that.
Simone

edit: Seems there was a mode change around 1509 UTC, using the TDF configuration then (as usual on 3965 kHz), not sure when the label changed from The Disco Palace to TDPRadio.
Btw funny about the label, as usually it is TDPradio not TDPRadio, so definitely not the normal TDP configuration today.

Very good reception here in Singapore

Here is a good reception during my monitoring from 1540 to 1600UTC (sorry it was late). Attached screenshot. Very strong signal here in Singapore. Used just 3ft wire antenna (living room) + Elektor SDR 2005 + DREAM 1.13. Actually the signal was overloaded if i use 0 or -10dB. I've to use -20dB in my SDR for 100% decoding.

But, the audio quality was not that good as other DRM stations. 14.56kbps AAC Mono.

When will be the next test tx?

Hi Alokesh,
thatīs not what I meant, we were discussing the changes in the first 10 minutes or so.

Only a weak signal here, not worth uploading the results but configurations seemed OK today.
Greetings to Jacques for letting us know about the new tests!
